Must Watch Upcoming Anime in 2021 Fall

1. DEMON SLAYER SEASON 2

Demon slayer season 2 is an anime that manages to live up to its hype! Started in 2019 it captured not only one’s attention but also heart and mind with its season 1 and then, later with its movie Demon Slayer: The Movie Mugen Train.

Fans all over are thrilled to have its season 2 coming out in fall 2021.

The season 2 is said to be starting its initial episodes with bits from the movie Mugen Train which happens to contain more than 70 additional new scenes and then, is said to feature Tanjiro and the Gang’s journey after Mugen Train.

After a series of mysterious disappearances begin in the Mugen train, the Demon Slayer Corps’ multiple attempts to resolve the problem proves to be unfruitful. The first episode depicts Rengoku, accompanied by Tanjirou Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira, as he embarks on his journey to the Mugen Train.

They must tackle this demonic presence in order to save the lives of hundreds of innocent people.

2. KOMI-SAN CAN’T COMMUNICATE

One of the most anticipated manga-turned-anime-adaptation of this year, written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda, also called to be the shyest anime, is coming soon on Netflix. Shouko Komi’s tall, elegant appearance and her long black hair has enchanted everyone at the prestigious Itan Private Highschool on her first day and has already risen to popularity. There is just one problem faced by the graceful Shouko Komi– She is absolutely terrible at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is your average high school boy who prefers to steer clear of troubles and stay in his lane. He soon accidentally discovers Komi-san’s secret and resolves to help her to make 100 friends to overcome her communication disorder. The hype for this anime is REAL and we sure can’t wait to see our favorite romcom in action!

3. BLUE PERIOD

Written by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, Blue Period, a Seine anime, follows the story of young Yatora who is tired of his mediocre life. Despite doing well in academics and having friends he can hangout with, he doesn’t seem to enjoy any of these activities. Yatora’s character, which can be relatable to a lot of us out there, holds a sentiment of doing something adventurous in his life. Unable to find an adventure, he envies the ones who are doing extraordinary things in life.

Things change for Yatora when he sees a painting made by one of his peers at the Art Club of his high school. He instantly discovers a passion for painting. He tries to express his thoughts by painting. After this activity, Yatora realizes how fascinated he is by Art and goes on to decide that this is what he wants to do in his life.

But releasing yourself from all your past expectations is dangerous as well as thrilling since multiple obstacles stand before him as he tries to make his way. His parents who are not happy with his decision, his skilled peers and a deeper study of the subject than he had initially expected. This is definitely the kind of anime that will leave you exhilarated and overflowing with emotions.

4. Platinum End

This psychological thriller written by the writer and illustrator of Death Note Tsugumi Ohba and by Takeshi Obata, coming back to their roots, tells the story of young Mirai Kakehashi who has to live with his abusive relatives after the accidental death of his parents. He has since then become gloomy and depressed, leading him to attempt suicide. However, Mirai is saved by an angel named Nasse who introduces herself as the Guardian Angel wishing to give him happiness by granting him supernatural powers and a chance to become the new God.

In order to earn the title of “New God”, he must defeat 12 other God Candidates within 999 days. Mirai accepts this challenge and finds himself struggling to survive as a menacing battle erupts between himself and the other candidates in a struggle to obtain the most powerful position in the world.

5. The Vampire Dies in No Time

Vampires are assumed to be unbelievable aristocrats or naïve invincible monsters who come with only a few weaknesses but Draluc is not like that, not even close. Unlike your normal vampire fiction, Draluc isn’t big and strong with only a few weaknesses. In fact, He is weak at everything! Even the slightest of anxiety makes him turn into ashes.

A famous vampire hunter named Ronaldo after hearing that Draluc, whom he had presumed to be deadly, has held a kid in captivity at his palace. Ronaldo makes up his mind to save the kid and charges at Draluc’s palace. Ronaldo realizes Draluc isn’t as invincible as he was made to be. Ronaldo after destroying Draluc’s castle in their duel offers refuge to him as a form of apology. This leads to their adventure of working together to defend themselves from rogue vampires.
