Darts player Andy Jenkins has received an 11-year ban from all Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) tournaments after being found guilty of fixing a dozen matches between February 2022 and July 2023. The 54-year-old will also have to pay a £17,580 ($23,413) fine.
Jenkins passed information about the fixed darts games to bettors and made 88 bets through his own account, which players are prohibited from doing. There is no suggestion that other players were involved. Jenkins has until May 6 to appeal the enforcement.

The DRA received investigative help from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) Sports Betting Intelligence Unit after a sportsbook operator reported suspicious betting activity on five matches involving Jenkins to the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Talking about the ban, UKGC Director of Enforcement John Pierce said that it sends “a strong and unequivocal message to all sportspeople – if you fix matches, you are likely to be caught and face serious consequences.”
He added that bettors must be confident that markets are fair and not fixed.
This is the second time Jenkins has faced a multi-year ban during his career. He previously received a two-year suspension in 2009 for assaulting his opponent Terry Jenkins during a match.
